Who we are and what we do
Boyd Henderson Associates was formed in 2002.
Boyd Henderson Associates offer the following products and services:
- Business skills training for individuals and teams
- The Insights Discovery® model for developing effective communication and personal skills in the workplace
- 1-1 Coaching for professionals
David Davensac
David holds a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management, and a PG Diploma in Learning and Development, as a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, along with accredited awards in skills such as 360 degree feedback, change management and consultancy, to name but a few.
Most of David's experience comes from working with blue chip FTSE 250 companies such as Argos, as well as start up operations including Seraphim Hair Design and The Mildmay Arms Inn.

Whilst studying for his 'A' levels David worked at the 4* Hilton Hotel at Gatwick, where he learnt exemplary standards of customer service front of house, and outstanding attention to detail, flavours and presentation in the kitchen.
His love of great food, fantastic service and building guest loyalty was cemented here.
When studying Hospitality Management at Bournemouth University David worked part-time for the multi channel retailer Argos, where he experienced the benefits of a highly organised set of processes and procedures underpinned by great leadership and outstanding training, development and care of their people. He then went on to a management career in their stores. His love of training and development took him to the Argos HQ for 3 years in their Training Design department where he assisted with their award winning e-learning packages, distance learning materials and the creation of training videos from concept to launch. He then took up the newly created role of field-based Regional Learning and Development Advisor; supporting learning and development activities for 100 stores in the south of england and the launch of 20 new stores over seven years in the role.
David went into partnership in 2004 and purchased The Mildmay Arms Inn in Somerset. The Inn boasted a restaurant serving homemade signature dishes created and cooked by David, a large function room hosting regular large events, and bed and breakfast rooms.
David has now consolidated all of these skills and a passion for bespoke products and services to develop Boyd Henderson Associates into a business that prides itself on treating each event as if I were the end user and paying for it!
We are based in Rochford, Essex.
